H7: Serving as an Act of Worship
In the heart of every meaningful celebration, there's an unsung story of dedication and sacrifice. This Easter at Tusculum, that story was authored by a marvelous team of staff and volunteers whose selfless commitment ensured a smooth and spiritually uplifting time of worship to our resurrected King.
As you can imagine, preparing for Good Friday and Easter Sunday is no small feat. It's a labor of love that demands hours, sometimes days, of meticulous planning and execution. Our volunteers embraced this call with open arms, pouring heart and soul into every detail.
While the congregation came together to celebrate our risen Savior, around 20 incredible individuals sacrificed their own moments in the pews. They chose to serve by caring for our preschool aged kids, ensuring that parents could embrace the fullness of worship without distraction.

Amongst these, the Schubert family stood out, embodying the true spirit of community and service. The entire family, including Faith, who was home from College for the weekend, served together in Kids. They dedicated their whole weekend to setting up on Saturday, serving throughout Sunday, and staying back until everything was cleaned up. Their joyful teamwork was a beautiful testament to being on Kingdom Mission of Helping People Find and Follow Jesus.
The Schubert's (and so many other's) every day boring faithfulness allowed parents to fully immerse themselves in the worship and celebration of Christ's resurrection for us. Even though these volunteers missed out on being part of the Easter service, their service in Kids Min was a amazing act of worship.
The heroes behind the scenes also included our vigilant security team, who watched over us and our kids, ensuring our safety as we worshiped and celebrated together.
To each person who contributed their time and energy, please know that your efforts have left an indelible mark on the hearts of our community. Thank you for being a living example of selfless service and love that reflects the Gospel.
